KeyPath is building an integrated PropTech/FinTech platform that can connect with the systems landlords and real estate operators already use rather than requiring customers to replace their existing technology.
KeyPath's integration strategy includes property management systems, resident-experience platforms, construction systems, economic data sources, and municipal/compliance platforms.
KeyPath is also developing a community stakeholder offering intended to help municipalities and housing organizations understand housing outcomes, resident retention, developer commitments, local hiring, vendor participation, and economic impact.
Position Overview
KeyPath is seeking a Strategic Partnerships & Municipal Market Research Intern to help build the commercial and research infrastructure behind the company's technology partnerships and municipal strategy.
This intern will work at the intersection of business development, technology partnerships, PropTech, housing policy, and economic development.
The engineering team is building integrations. Your job will focus on the business side of making those integrations and partnerships possible.
ResponsibilitiesTechnology & Integration Partnerships
Research potential technology and API partners.

Research platforms such as property management systems, resident platforms, construction platforms, and public-data providers.
Identify relevant partnership and business-development contacts.
Maintain KeyPath's integration partnership database.

Research sandbox availability, API access requirements, potential fees, and customer authorization requirements.
Prepare internal partnership briefs before meetings.
Help draft partnership outreach materials.
Support preparation for meetings with technology companies and prospective integration partners.
KeyPath's current integration architecture is intentionally designed so that external systems remain systems of record while KeyPath functions as the participation, rewards, analytics, agreement, and compliance layer.

Research municipalities, housing authorities, land banks, economic development agencies, and public-private housing initiatives.
Analyze local housing conditions and rental markets.
Research renter populations, vacancy, housing affordability, homeownership, development activity, and relevant public programs.
Identify municipalities that may be strong candidates for future KeyPath pilots.
Research municipal procurement and innovation programs.
